Engineering Background
I am a solution-driven Tech Lead Engineer with a proven track record in fostering highly collaborative work environments, devising innovative solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. I bring extensive experience in developing consumer-focused platforms, specializing in Python (FastAPI/Celery/WSS) microservices deployed on Kubernetes.
My rapid adaptability enables me to master any programming language or framework swiftly. I excel in roles as a Backend Engineer (Python/Fastapi), Frontend Engineer (JS/VUE/Swift), and DevOps Engineer (K8S/GCP).
Over the past 15+ years, I have consistently delivered high-quality products for both desktop and mobile platforms. I have designed and developed multiple platforms from the ground up, covering DevOps, backend, and frontend aspects. My proficiency in these areas is strengthened by my dedication to side projects, where I single-handedly tackle diverse challenges, enhancing my skills beyond my regular nine-to-five job. I am passionate about mentoring my teammates and committed to continuous learning and self-improvement.

My Story
Born in Barcelona in the eighties, I grew up surrounded by technology. My first computer was a ZX Spectrum Sinclair, primarily used for playing games on cassettes that took forever to load. In the early nineties, I upgraded to an Amstrad PC 1512, which changed the course of my life forever. As a kid, I created my first .bat file to automate application launching, typed my first '@echo off', and wrote my first BASIC print statement. Later on, the mysteries of Microsoft C fascinated me, and I realized that programming was my calling.
In the late nineties, Microsoft Windows was becoming widespread, but due to a lack of resources, I couldn't get one. Gradually, I drifted away from my passion. At eighteen, I dropped out of school and took a regular job in construction.
Several years later, the explosion of the World Wide Web made me realize it was time for a comeback. With enough money to buy a good computer, I taught myself web development during a time when CSS didn't even exist and websites were built using tables. After five years of working on my projects and getting them online, I decided it was the right time to pursue a degree in Software Engineering.
In 2014, I earned my Bachelor's degree, became proficient in Python (my favorite programming language), and embarked on my professional journey, working for great companies and developing side projects in my free time.
Today, in 2024, I work for a wonderful company and have side projects and powerful skills that provide me with extra income. Coding has been life-changing for me, and I'm proud to say I love my life.
